Ctrl+U: View the current page’s source code. Ctrl+O: Open a file from your computer. Ctrl+S: Save the current web page to your computer in the form of Html. Ctrl+P: Open the Print window for the current page. Ctrl+Shift+Del: Open the Clear browsing data. Ctrl+D: Add the current webpage to your bookmark. Ctrl+Shift+G or Shift+F3: Find the previous match of the searched text on the web page. Ctrl+G or F3: Go to the next match of the searched text on the web page. Ctrl+F or F3: Open the in-page search box to search for content on the current web page. Alt+Enter: Perform a search from the search box in a new web page. ( Ctrl+K doesn’t work in IE, you need to use Ctrl+E) Ctrl+K or Ctrl+E: Open the browser’s built-in search box or the address bar if the web browser doesn’t have a dedicated search box. Alt+Enter: Open the page in the address bar in a new tab. For example, type minitool into the address bar and press Ctrl+Enter to open. Ctrl+Enter: Prefix to the text that you have typed in the address bar, and then load the website. Ctrl+L, Alt+D, or F6: Highlight the address bar for you to type a new address. Shift+Space or Page Up: Scroll up a frame in the current web page. Space or Page Down: Scroll down a frame in the current web page. Ctrl and - or Ctrl+Mousewheel Down: Zoom out the current web page. Ctrl and + or Ctrl+Mousewheel Up: Zoom in the current web page. Alt+Home: Open the homepage of your web browser. Ctrl+F5: Reload and skip the cache or re-downloading the entire website. F5: Reload/Refresh the current web page. Alt+Right Arrow: Forward to the previous web page. Alt+Left Arrow: Go back to the previous web page. Ctrl+Shift+Left Click: Open a page in a foreground tab. Shift+Left Click: Open a page in a new browser window. Ctrl+Left Click or Middle-click: Open a page in a background tab. 
You can use other close tab shortcut to do the work like Ctrl+W or Ctrl+F4 However, this shortcut to close tab may not be available in some web browsers like Chrome. This shortcut to close tab is also available for all other applications.
Alt+F4: Close all the tabs in the current web browser. Ctrl+N: Open a new window on your web browser. Ctrl+T: Open a new tab on your web browser. Ctrl+Shift+T: Reopen the last closed tab.
